The fifth annual Hanover Open charity golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 6, 2008 at Hanover Country Club. The format is captain's choice. Shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from the tournament create scholarships for graduating seniors at all four high schools in Hanover County. Hanover Country Club features a newly designed 18-hole course nestled in the rolling hills of Hanover, 4 miles west of Ashland off Route 54. The day concludes with dinner and prizes.
